Nathan Johnson, a junior at Clovis High, ran a wind-legal 10.52 in the boys 100-meter dash and also produced a wind-legal leap of 22-9.25 (6.94m) to prevail in the long jump at the CIF Central Section Masters meet, also known as the Valley Championships, at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis. Johnson helped the Cougars finish fourth in the 4x100-meter relay in 42.99, in addition to taking third place in the 200 in a wind-legal 21.44.
