Daniela Ruelas, a junior at Arroyo Grande High, won the girls 100-meter hurdles in a wind-aided 14.58, in addition to taking second in the 300 hurdles in 43.83 at the CIF Central Section Masters meet, also known as the Valley Championships, at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis. Ruelas also helped Arroyo Grande win its section and place seventh overall in the 4x100-meter relay in 51.17, along with finishing fourth in the 100-meter dash in a wind-legal 12.19.
