Buchanan coach Brian Weaver reflects on the records set by his girls team Saturday, winning a fourth consecutive CIF Central Section girls Masters title and ninth overall with 136 points, the latter breaking a tie for the all-time most championships with Clovis West. Weaver has a combined 16 track and field titles, more than any coach in section history, with his boys team taking runner-up with 57.5 points to first-time winner Clovis North (110 points), marking the ninth time in the past decade Buchanan has placed in the top two at the Masters meet.
