Buchanan swept the girls 3,200 meters at the CIF Central Section Masters, with Corie Smith winning in 10:47.95, Meagen Lowe clocking 10:59.22 and Sydney Fox improving by nearly 25 seconds to place third in 11:01.74 at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Smith also won the 1,600 in 5:00.27, with Lowe second in 5:05.27. Buchanan won its third straight team championship with 121 points, with the Bears producing 51 points in the 1,600 and 3,200.
