Bakersfield Highland junior Moises Medrano ran the No. 2 time in the state this year in the 800 meters by clocking 1:51.47 at the CIF Central Section Masters at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium. Medrano also anchored Highland's 4x400 relay to fifth in 3:21.71, securing an eighth-place finish with 25 points.
